Dear main stream media (MSM) we only need a small amount of PR, thanks

Given how little PR we got last year (compared to...well, a lot of companies that are much smaller than us), it's probably a good thing that every time we burp, there aren't a dozen articles questioning whether or not it really happened, what it smelled like and most importantly, what we really ate for lunch deduced from the odor.

This year, I think I speak for the entire team when I say I'd love to get about the same amount of coverage as last year. It's hard growing the service but it's a different challenge when it grows too fast...considering this month, we're about 50% up from last month, gross, on a daily basis, up about 45%...it's simply challenging just to keep the wheels from falling off, the service stable and the quality high.

At our current traffic levels, we'll easily be over 4 million visitors in April. For the month of March, we will come in around 3.7 million, more or less.

I know, I know...enough about the traffic & stats. What's cooking?

Well, the new updates (new) that show you when you get a new answer, when your advice gets rated or you get picture tags, comments or ratings...those are a smash hit. We're working on the same for our groups feature.

More polish, more ease of use and more intuitive navigation around the site are also in development, but a ways off. There are a bunch of things further down the line we're planning...but, given we have no sense of timing, it makes little to no sense to get people over excited & then launch something late which dampens enthusiasm and perhaps leads to disappointment.

Is there something we're missing? If it's easy, we can do it faster, if it's hard, it takes longer, as it goes into the same planning process as the rest of our feature set. As usual, drop me a note either comment or fun mail, and let me know what's on your mind.
